The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course is a great way for you to
expand your diving experience to include an appreciation for the
planning and execution of dives to depths that exceed 60' and up to
130'. We offer this course during our scheduled Lake Superior trips
as well as our Crosby Tours. This two-day course will introduce you to the theories of nitrogen
absorption, advanced dive table use as well as an introduction to
the use of dive computers. At the end of this two-day course
you'll have your PADI Deep Diver Specialty Certification.
Four dives are required for certification. If you have your PADI
Advanced certification, you have the first one done and would only
need to complete three during this weekend. When you register for
the course, you will receive a video that must be watched prior to
making your first dive.
The cost of the course when done at Crosby Mines is
$145.00; when done on the Lake Superior Trip the cost is $95.00.
This includes your Deep Diver Specialty Manual, chevron, air,
certification costs and training dives.
You will need full dive gear including hood and
gloves.
