Michael Knorr
founded MICK'S SCUBA, Inc. back in 1979. He started diving while
in the U.S. Army in 1975. After getting out of the service, Mike
advanced to his instructor rating and started the business shortly
thereafter. Over the years, Mike continued his education advancing
to a PADI Course Director, the highest professional level in the PADI
association. He also holds instructor ratings in numerous PADI
specialties as well as Advanced Nitroc, Decompression Diving, and
Extended Range Diving through Technical Divers International (TDI).
Having sold the business in 2003, Mike continues to work and teach for
Mick's SCUBA, Inc., on a part-time basis and handles many of their
repairs. Mike is also on the Valley Water Rescue board of
directors, a volunteer dive rescue team serving the area of Cass and
Clay counties.
Guy Swenson is a PADI Open Water
Scuba Instructor. Guy was certified in 1977 while serving in the U.S.
Marine Corps. Guy has logged nearly 500 dives in California, Texas, Cozumel and Midwest lakes. Guy's full-time job is
with the city of Barnesville.
Robert Matheson is a PADI Open Water
Scuba Instructor who works at Mick's SCUBA, Inc. part-time. Robb has been
diving in the Mayan Riviera, Cozumel and other areas of Mexico. Robb's
full-time job is with the Moorhead Police Department as a Police Officer.
Brian Day is a
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. He knows area lakes and has been diving in Cozumel frequently
as well.
Patrick Healey is
a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Pat teaches science class at
Discovery Jr. High in Fargo. Pat has been an instructor for over
15 years and enjoys sharing his love of diving with students of all
ages.
Danielle Roeker is PADI Open
Water Scuba Instructor. Dani has been diving since 1996 . Her diving
experiences have taken her to Belize, Honduras, Cayman Islands, Bonaire and many
Midwestern lakes. Dani's full-time job is with the Aberdeen Regional Airport.
Steven Blanchard is a PADI Master
Scuba Diver Trainer and has been teaching as an Open Water Scuba Instructor
since 2004. Steve lives in the Park Rapids area and knows area lakes well.
Steve has also been diving in Cozumel and Bonaire.
