Classes are held at the high school
in Thief River Falls and are sponsored through Thief River Falls
Community Education.Classroom and Pool Information
Our first session is a classroom session beginning at
6 pm on Friday evening. We will meet from 8 am to 8 pm on Saturday
and 8 am to about 5 pm on Sunday. Times vary slightly depending on
numbers and progression. The cost for classroom and pool instruction
as well as all the equipment you need is $165. You'll need a PADI
instruction kit including manual, dive tables, log book and other
resources. The cost of the kit is $55.59 + shipping and tax.
What to bring
Bring a towel, bathing suit and a heavy pair of socks. Also bring your
PADI manual, completed Knowledge Reviews, paper and a pen.
Extra things to think about
Numbers are limited and it's important to have
your manual read prior to Friday's session so pre-register as soon
as possible. Pre-registering will guarantee your spot and give you
the chance to receive your manual. Diving with your own equipment
can enhance your diving and learning experience. We offer our
students a sizable discount on mask/fins/snorkel packages if you
choose to have these items for personal use during the course. You
may want to consider doing your open water dives on one of our dive
trips. Talk to us about other open water options.
