Fantasy Island Beach Resort on Roatan, Honduras was our dive destination in February 2003.  This was our second trip to Roatan.

The Fantasy Island Beach Resort is located on a picturesque 15 acre private island; a self contained paradise more akin to a country club than a traditional wilderness resort.  They had fantastic food (Duane thinks he gained about 10 pounds on his trip!)

Roatan's underwater seascape includes shallow reefs and exotic drop-offs that fringe the island. Drift diving the nearly continuous sponge-lined wall often begins in as little as 40 feet of water. We enjoyed one of the most accommodating dive operations on our trips.  Shore diving was good - even a DC-3 airplane accessible from shore.
